RDC XI SELECTS PSRs FOR THE TERM 2010-2013
The Regional Development Council (RDC) XI selected Private Sector Representatives (PSRs) for the term 2010-2013 in two separate PSR Selection Assemblies. Selection for the Crops and Grains; Energy; Forestry/Mining/Environment; Information and Communications Technology; Livestock/Poultry/Fisheries; Academe; Cooperatives/Farmers and Fisherfolk; Indigenous Peoples/Cultural Communities; Urban Poor; and Women/Children/Youth/Persons with Disabilities/Older Persons sectors was held on 24 June 2010, while that for the Labor sector was held on 16 July 2010. The selection assemblies were held at NEDA-RDC XI Center, Bangkal, Davao City.
Twenty-six (26) private sector organizations (PSOs) participated in the 24 June 2010 selection assembly. For the Labor sector, four (4) labor federations sent their designated voters. The following is the list of the selected RDC XI PSRs for the term 2010-2013, that will be submitted for the Council’s confirmation:

Together, these PSRs constitute a fourth of the fully-constituted RDC XI. The ex-officio members of the Council, who all come from the government sector, shall confirm the PSRs in the next RDC XI meeting.
The PSR slots were allocated by the previous Council based on Davao Region’s priority sectors and industries. The Council meets every quarter to take up a variety of regional development concerns, as well as, to oversee the region’s socioeconomic development initiatives.
