RDC XI Private Sector Representative (PSR) Selection Process
The Council is undertaking the PSR selection process for RDC XI PSRs, 2010-2013.
Qualified private sector organizations (PSOs) under the guidelines may nominate a PSR candidate by filling out in the Annexes and submitting the same to the RDC XI Secretariat not later than 10 June 2010.

RDC XI Annual Budget Review Meeting

This special meeting is called for the Council to consult with Regional Line Agencies (RLAs), Government-owned and Controlled Corporations (GOCCs), and State Universities and Colleges (SUCs) regarding their respective FY 2011 budget proposals, in view of DBM Memorandum 105 or the Budget Call for 2011, which provides for the policy guidelines and procedures in the preparation of FY 2011 budget proposals.

GoNegosyo FOUNDER ENCOURAGES RDC PSRS: ‘INFLUENCE THE GOVERNMENT TO THINK MORE LIKE ENTREPRENEURS’
Mr. Jose Ma. “Joey” A. Concepcion III, Presidential Consultant on Entrepreneurship and founder of “GoNegosyo”, addressed one hundred twenty-nine (129) participants as keynote speaker of the 3rd Regional Development Council Private Sector Representatives National Conference (RDC PSR NatCon). This event was conducted on 11-13 February 2010 at the Waterfront Insular Hotel, Lanang, Davao City.

Implementing Partners Sign MOA on Davao Region’s Virtual Library
Davao Region’s local government units, regional line agencies, private sector and Congressional representatives have signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) to formally set up a web-based geographic information system (GIS) that will provide up-to-date resource information about Davao Region and its localities and environs.
The mechanism, known as the Davao Region Geographic Information Network (DR-GIN) is a web-based GIS or virtual library that provides geo-referenced information on the region’s bio-geophysical, demographic and socioeconomic characteristics, as well as business and investment prospects.

DAVAO REGION’S POLICY-MAKERS GET PERMANENT HEADQUARTERS.
This National Economic and Development Authority-Regional Development Council of Region XI (NEDA-RDC XI) Center, located at Km. 7, SPED Area, Bangkal, Davao City was inaugurated last November 28, 2008. From now on, this center will be where the leaders of Davao Region will converge to formulate plans and policies for developing the region. Equipped with modern boardroom features, with a huge convention hall at the ground floor, a Knowledge Center and the NEDA XI offices at the second floor, this structure symbolizes the role of RDC XI in regional development and its commitment to serve the people of Davao Region.

With the completion of the RDC XI Center cum NEDA XI Secretariat Administration Building in Bangkal, Davao City, we are happy to announce that we have completed our transfer to the new building last October 24, 2008.
