DAC XI Functions
The Development Administation Committee (DAC) XI is mandated with the following functions:
- Review and endorse to the Council programs/projects of national government agencies and LGUs in the region requiring national government financial exposure which may come in the form of guarantees, national government budget appropriations or subsidies, among others;
- Integrate sectoral information and statistics in the preparation of the annual regional development report;
- Assist the Council in the translation of national development goals and policies into specific regional sectoral objectives; and
- Integrate sectoral plans and programs of Local Government Units (LGUs) into regional sectoral plans and programs and coordinate all sectoral planning and programming activities of sectoral line agencies in the region.
DAC XI Members
RDC XI members who have signified their option to join the Committee
City/provincial planning and development coordinators (based on RDC XI Resolution No. 40, Series of 2004, entitled “Enjoining Local Chief Executive of RDC XI Members-LGUs to Designate and Direct their Planning and Development Coordinators to sit in all RDC XI Sectoral Committees)
Heads of non-RDC XI member regional line agencies and government owned and controlled corporations (GOCCs) mandated to undertake developmental initiatives in the region (e.g. promote governance, ensure public safety)
Heads of Non-Government Organizations (NGO) or the Academe whose institutions are engaged in activities related to, among others, DAC’s functions, developmental advocacies, researches and studies.
Individuals who are acknowledged experts or authorities in their respective fields that relate to DAC’s functions.
