About Economic Development Committee
Pursuant to Executive Order No. 325 dated 12 April 1996 or the Reorganization of the Regional Development Councils, the Economic Development Committee (EDC) XI of the Regional Development Council (RDC) XI has formulated this Manual of Operation to serve as a guide in the performance of its functions and responsibilities. Section 2 outlines the organizational management structure of the RDC while Section 3 presents the functions and responsibilities of the committee as well as its officers, members and the secretariat. Section 4 provides the standard operating procedures that will serve as a guide in the conduct of the committee meetings. Section 5 discusses the involvement of EDC XI in the major outputs and activities of RDC XI.
Organization of the EDC XI
The EDC is one of the sectoral committees created under the RDC XI to assist in the performance of its functions. The present Committee was reorganized last February 1, 1999 following the reorganization of the RDC XI on August 14, 1998.

EDC XI Functions
The Economic Development Committee (EDC) XI was constituted to assist the Regional Development Council (RDC) XI in pursuing the socio-economic development of the region. Specifically, the EDC is mandated with the following functions:
- Review and endorse programs/projects of national government agencies and LGUs in the region requiring funding assistance from the national government and/or ODA COMMUNITY;
- Integrate agri-industry sector information and statistics in the preparation of the regional development report;
- Assist the RDC in the translation of national development goals and policies into regional sectoral objectives;
- Integrate agri-industry sector plans and programs of LGUs into the regional agri-industry activities of sectoral line agencies in the region; and
- Perform other related functions as may be assigned by the Council.
EDC XI Address
All official communications to the Committee shall be addressed to the RDC XI Secretariat, NEDA XI, 2/F GB Cam Building, Alvarez Street, Davao City.
